Hi there! My name is Matthew White and I am the owner of Repair Prepare. If you’re like me, taking on a home improvement project is a bit scary. Often times, when I’m about to begin a project (that I’ve likely been putting off for a while), I’m afraid I’m going to make the situation worse than it was to start with or somehow hurt myself.

However, most of the time I’ve found that if I take the time to do the proper research and have the right tools, the project isn’t near as bad as I thought. So, why do I keep putting off home repair projects? I guess because sometimes it can be hard to find the answers I’m looking for! So…I created Repair Prepare.

The goal of Repair Prepare isn’t to be the most informative and resourceful database out there for all things home improvement, although that would admittedly be an awesome creation. The goal is merely to provide practical advice, links to proper tools, and encouragement so that you feel prepared to take on whatever repair project you’ve been putting off.
